I float with the air and angels.

A kaleidoscopic flight, all fits and sparks.

One, two, three, four, five, six, nine and ten; money can’t buy you back the love that you had then.

Whew, this is the longest title I’ve ever had for my posts.

Normally, short and catchy lines are used. By the way, the title is a line off a song by Feist. It’s simply called, “1-2-3-4.” It’s such a happy song, you can’t help but dance to it. Or even look for someone to dance it with.

I’m thanking God that those two weeks have come and gone. I don’t want to ever go through it again, although it taught me something. It taught me a lesson about my actions, my words, and my thoughts. And that I shouldn’t be too dependent on anyone emotionally. People may help; but I don’t want and I don’t need crutches. It’s too dangerous and…I don’t know.

Things that I want at this moment:

1. A Moleskine journal. I don’t know if I can ever have those days back again. When I can write freely, and no one would accuse me of anything…of showing off and being vain. Because clearly, I have nothing to show off. I have nothing to be vain about. In short, walang-wala.

2, The latest Feist album. Thanks to an online friend of years ago, I fell in love with this artist. Leslie Feist has a unique way of making the sad appear as if you decided to get over that sad period, and that you’re okay and happy now.

3. Any Ian McEwan book, but especially Atonement and On Chesil Beach. Ned, my former orgmate back in UST (Thomasian Writer’s Guild…I rarely get to attend meetings, hah. :( ) recommends this book. I am also looking forward to the big screen version of Atonement. :)

4. A job. Enough said.

5. A Where’s Waldo Calendar for 2008 . It’s still early days. Pleeeease.

6. Peace of mind. Yes, I am serious.

7. A set of Staedler Triplus Fineline markers. I am a visual person while studying. I need color.

8. An inspiration. No, I don’t want a PERSON. I want something that is not human, and does not breathe. Probably something abstract. I’ve had enough of people (I hope you understand what I mean).

9. The album Fever To Tell by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I’ve been trying to download this for so long, but it was always in vain. Damn. Sorry for cussing.

*****

I am currently listening to Maps by The Yeah Yeahs. After reading Item 9 on my wish list you might be wondering why, but no, I am “listening” to it through Youtube (a human being’s other best friend). I have read the lyrics, and they haven’t got a lot of words. But it says a lot.

Pack up
I’m straight
I’m not
Oh say say say
Oh say say say
Oh say say say
Oh say say say
Oh say say say

Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Maps………..
Wait they don’t love you like i love you

Made off
don’t stray
well my kinds your kind i’ll stay the same

Pack up
don’t stray
oh say say say
oh say say say

Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Maps………..
Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Wait they don’t love you like i love you
Maps………..
Wait they don’t love you like i love you

I’m about to spend the rest of the day studying now. Bye.

    karla,

    thanks for dropping by! :)

Moleskine is a brand of those blank journals. I think they have quality stuff. Kaya super expensive sya. :)

I want a moleskin journal too, and I’m making sure I’m buying one at the end of February. :) I have Feist’s album and have quite a number of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Email me if you want some of those songs. :)

I say amen to the piece of mind and inspiration. We all could use that. :)

Can I just say that I also love love love Feist?

I discovered her through one random day after French class last year when I badly wanted to listen to French music. One of her French songs, Tout Doucement is a favorite.
